Milton Keynes is not only home to Xscape, it’s where our heart is. Corny right? But no, we do actually Love MK. To celebrate #LOVEMK Day 2021 we’ve decided to put pen to paper (well finger to keyboard) to highlight all the reasons why you guys love Milton Keynes.
'LAKES, WOODS, WILDLIFE AND OPEN SPACES’
Although a new city, with all things city related like roads and roundabouts, Milton Keynes has loads of parks and green spaces for us to kick back and relax in. MK boasts over 6000 acres of parkland, with lakes, rivers and ponds and stacks of wildlife and over 20% of the city is given to the outdoors. Although in lockdown we’ve probably walked more than ever, the spaces the city offer are varied, and you’ve maybe missed out on a few.
‘EVERYTHING ALL IN ONE PLACE’
And all under one gigantic roof! Xscape is just the cherry on top to make memories in MK! To testing your strength, laughing out loud or scaring yourself silly. Whatever floats your boat, we’ve got activities and more to last you a lifetime. Start here.
Add to family itinerary a giant adventure at Gulliver’s Land, or shop with your friends at independent boutiques and make a day of it. Find out more on where to shop by visiting the Destination MK website here.
‘MK IS DIVERSE, VIBRANT, EXPANSIVE, RESTLESS AND EVER CHANGING’

‘MY FAVOURITE PLACE IS CAMPBELL PARK’
Located at the heart of Milton Keynes. Perfect for a leisurely stroll or picnic, Campbell Park stretches from the theatre end of Central Milton Keynes down to the Grand Union Canal.
